Variety has recently compiled various lists showing the highest-paid actors and talents in television. Presented below are estimates of celebrities’ incomes from the most current season of the series they are involved in. For the drama section, the top spot is shared between Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel from Netflix’s upcoming series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, with both of them earning a whopping $750,000 USD per episode. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke comes eighth on the list with an income of $500,000 USD for each episode of the show.
Onto the comedy category, the highest-earning actors are The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki (all earning $1,000,000 USD per episode). The trio is followed by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who earns $400,000 for each episode of HBO’s Ballers; as well as Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, who receive $350,000 USD per episode of Netflix’s Maniac. As for reality and news programmes, Ellen DeGeneres comes third on the list for making $20 million USD per episode of Ellen, while Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel both earn approximately $13-15 million USD for each episode of their talk shows.
