FKA Twigs' Halloween Themed-Art Exhibit Is Really a Haunted House
The singer curated the annual ‘Veuve Clicquot Widow Series’ with terror in mind.
From what we last heard, FKA twigs was curating a spooky Halloween-themed art exhibit, casting help — ”no talent or style is too extreme.” The installation is the second annual Veuve Clicquot Widow Series, titled “Rooms,” and includes talents scouted at an August casting call.
Held inside a building in London’s Shoreditch, 12 rooms are tied together with a zodiac theme inspired by Madame Clicquot – each set designed by a different artist. Two evening shows, taking place on October 27 and 28, will see Twigs travels through each room and adapts to their settings.
There is an Andy Hillman piece with a giant black rose juxtaposed against a stark white “Black Mirror”-esque room by Emma Roach. Gary Card created a clay room occupied by clay-covered beings – Twigs spends a large part here.
All together, the show is a little American Horror Story and a little Black Mirror in spirit. Get a sneak peek above and buy tickets here at approximately $25 USD.
