J.Crew x New Balance's First Activewear Collection Is What Women Really Need
Athleisure isn’t going anywhere.
New Balance and J.Crew are launching a new partnership with an inaugural activewear collection. Work out in the 20-item range – including sneakers, sports bras and leggings – priced at $15-200 USD designed using “unique colors and prints.” The brand called upon several women, including model Gracie Cavalho & Allure‘s Fashion Director Rachael Wang, to model the campaign.
Creative Director Jenna Lyons said in a statement:
“I admit it: I dread the gym, cannot for the life of me figure out how to clip in and out of a spin bike and the thought of ice cream is the only thing that gets me to do any type of physical exercise. We hope these clothes (along with ice cream) help motivate you to do whatever activity it is you like to do. And if they don’t, we still think they look great sitting on the couch.”
