Lonely's 2016 Fall/Winter Campaign Offers the Unretouched Diversity We Deserve
Body positivity — no Photoshop required.
While fashion as a whole struggles to be more inclusive of all colors, shapes and sizes, Lonely excels yet again. The New Zealand-based lingerie brand offers a look at the Fall/Winter 2016 campaign — the models are just as striking as the pieces themselves. Since launching in 2009, Lonely places an emphasis on “real women,” presenting a group that is not only diverse but also unretouched.
No Photoshop or alterations necessary — Lonely is for, and celebrates, every woman just the way she is. GIRLS costars Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke helped champion body positivity in the brand’s last campaign, while this one shows women of all walks of life and appearances.
