2016 Ultimate Comeback: The Nike Air Mag Is Now Available Via Raffle
FINALLY, the online drawing is open.
In October 2015 Nike started a sneaker revolution when Michael J. Fox modeled the inaugural Nike Air Mag, modeled from his 1989 Back to the Future. For those not aware, Mags can lace-up on its own with a power lace.
One year later the Air Mag is making a comeback – the Swoosh and The Michael J. Fox Foundation have announced 89 pairs will release through an online draw. Proceeds will go to the Foundation’s research against Parkinson’s disease.
The 2016 Nike Mag combines the archetype invention with new HyperAdapt 1.0 technology and a responsive system – Adaptive Fit – will tighten or loosen accordingly. How can you cop?
Entrance to the drawing is via nike.com/mag or the Nike+ App. Tickets are $10 donations to The Michael J. Fox Foundation and there is no limit to the amount that can be obtained per individual — the more tickets, the greater chance to win. The drawing will begin on October 4 and end October 11. Winners will be announced October 17.
In addition one pair will also be auctioned live in Hong Kong on October 11, London on October 14 & 17 and in New York on November 12 at The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s Benefit Gala. Good luck all – learn more about Parkinson’s disease at michaeljfox.org.
