At Nicolas Ghesquière’s runway an iPhone case became the new “It” bag.
Nicolas Ghesquière presented Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2017 at Paris Fashion Week with French sophistication. The usual Fondation Louis Vuitton location was replaced by the brand’s new Place Vendôme store scheduled to open in 2017.
The runway held in an intimate concrete environment and models sauntered down in numbers with bias-cut and ample draping. “I realize that I didn’t explore that much yet the sophistication and the more dressed-up part of Louis Vuitton,” he told Vogue.
The highlight per show is normally new handbags but this season the new style was a Petite Malle phone case. Watch above and get a closer look at the new “it” accessory below.
