This Stylist Turns Streetwear Into Pure Chaos on a HYPEBAE Editorial
Yi Ng styled looks by OFF-WHITE, Raf Simons, UNDERCOVER, Vetements and more.
Stylist Yi Ng isn’t on your average streetwear game. Instead she gets you to rethink the streetwear brands you swear by — think A-COLD-WALL*, Gosha Rubchinskiy and Supreme — using DIY-cool and gothic Harajuku inspirations bordering on avant-garde.
Ng brought that signature aesthetic to a HYPEBAE shoot lensed by photographer Jacob Han — models India Jones and Jeet were styled to streetwear proportions in much-recognizable brands like MISBHV, OFF-WHITE and Vetements. Primo outerwear including an UNDERCOVER Glossy Trench and a satin Yohji Yamamoto number standout.
Bottoms count an Alexander Wang cutout pants and Stephanie Schafer metal-ring skirt while the no-pants look turns to a destroyed Raf Simons sweater standalone — worn over the stylist’s archival mesh overlay. Hardware chokers including a repurposed Alyx belt and Supreme headband play with Maison Margiela’s Split Toe Boots — all styled to chaotic precision.
