'i-D' x Chanel Celebrate Female Creativity With "The Fifth Sense" Short Film Series

Directed by British photographer, Harley Weir.

i-D and Chanel have recently tapped British photographer Harley Weir for a new multimedia project entitled “The Fifth Sense.” Inspired by the unique characteristics of Chanel’s iconic No.5 perfume, the project features an intimate portrait series, five stunning short films and a photography zine exploring the lives of five inspiring women. In particular, Weir travelled the globe to capture French actress Oulaya Amamra, Japanese photographer Momo Okabe, Berlin-based deaf artist Christine Sun Kim, LA beat poet Zaria Allen, as well as Johannesburg dancer Manthe Ribane.

Watch the trailer for the video series above, and head over here to learn more about the project.
