An #OnFeet Look at the Nike Special Field Air Force 1
A futuristic step forward for the Swoosh.
Nike first introduced the Air Force 1 originally as basketball footwear in 1983, and now comes the next evolution of one of the most iconic sneaker silhouettes of all time 33 years later. The Special Field Air Force 1 is a futuristic step forward for the Swoosh, combining the AF1 with the Special Field Boot for maximum effect just before the winter season. Premium full grain leather extends from the upper into the tongue along with rip stop ballistic nylon that comes up just below the calf. Two removable sets of interwoven and adjustable straps wrap around the ankle — the styling options are unlimited. Additionally, the rollout counts military-inspired ballistic nylon tote bags to complement.
The SF AF-1 will be available in Light Bone/Sail and Golden Beige/Linen, as seen above. Two men’s colorway (Black/Gum and Faded Olive/Gum) will also launch alongside a unisex White/White colorway, which you can check out via HYPEBEAST here. The women’s and men’s pairs are expected to release on November 5 via the SNKRS App and select retailers, while the unisex version will be exclusively offered at ComplexCon November 5 and 6.
