Take a Look Inside Virgil Abloh's OFF-WHITE Pop-Up at Maxfield
It’s called “Estate Sale.”
Virgil Abloh is the second designer to collaborate with Maxfield on a pop-up shop at the concept store’s Melrose Avenue space. Following Jerry Lorenzo, the OFF-WHITE designer also debuted a capsule collection.
The inspiration behind is an “Estate Sale” – described to be a “study of past styles from previous seasons but through the lens of 30 years later.” Furniture and art are vintage reproductions and are meant to emulate what OFF-WHITE customers would possess and ultimately resell.
The 36-item collection – 21 men’s and 15 women’s pieces – range in price between $240 and $2218 USD. Abloh is also doing a special book signing on December 8 between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. PST.
Check out the photos above where Jerry Lorenzo, Karrueche Tran, Sami Miro and more made an appearance. The pop-up shop runs through January 29, 2017.
