Alyx Presents Fall 2016 Ready-to-Wear Fashion Show

Provocative and classy.

On the heels of his visual work for the likes of Kanye West and Lady Gaga as well as streetwear line Been Trill, Matthew Williams has been leading his growing fashion brand Alyx, as the creative director. Besides being stocked at influential stores like Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Dover Street Market, Machine-A, The Broken Arm, and Colette, Alyx has also been named as one of the semifinalists for this year’s LVMH Prize. The collection for Fall ‘16 finds the brand staying true to its own DNA by combining the best of Scottish suiting, English outerwear, and Italian shirting. Provocative yet classy, Alyx is presented in a very multi-faceted light, which offers new perspectives and challenging ideas. This is best shown in Williams employing iconography, which finds inspiration in the visionary’s youth. Click through the gallery above to gather more impressions.
