Drôle de Monsieur's 2016 Spring/Summer Collection Plays with Lines and Silhouettes
And no, designers Dany dos Santos and Maxime Schwab are not from Paris.
Design duo Dany dos Santos and Maxime Schwab, otherwise known as Drôle de Monsieur, hail from Dijon of France’s Burgundy region. As they are quick to point out, the pair are not from Paris and have the phrase proudly emblazoned across the fronts of many of their 2016 spring/summer pieces. Showcasing a diverse range of clean-cut garments, the range features a selection of over-sized silhouettes that are rendered with sleek lines and minimalistic detailing. Rendered with a neutral palette of earthy tones mixed with rich blue and navy hues, the program is a refreshing take on casualwear. Although Drôle de Monsieur is not currently stocked at many stateside boutiques, you can expect to find the new collection at the brand’s webstore in early March.
