Impossible Project x NYFW Share Backstage Polaroids from the Jeremy Scott and Tommy Hilfiger Shows
Candid shots of Gigi Hadid, Lucky Blue Smith, Jourdan Dunn and more.
The realm of photography has seen a recent resurgence of analog media, reinvigorating a decades-old aesthetic that seems to have been forgotten with the growing preference towards digital imagery and social media. Going behind the scenes of New York Fashion Week, the Impossible Project has teamed up with BFA to document the iconic event, captured with Impossible Project film and cameras. Creating a NYFW diary with Polaroids, the buzzing atmosphere was filled with some of fashion’s biggest names including Gigi Hadid, Lucky Blue Smith, Jourdan Dunn and more. The nostalgic aesthetic of Polaroid film incorporates an extra element to the photoseries, framing the tableaux with the iconic white borders of 1970’s analog instant photographs. Going backstage at the Jeremy Scott and Tommy Hilfiger shows, we get a front row seat to one of the fashion calendar’s most star-studded events.
