The PUMA x McQ 2016 Spring/Summer Sneaker Collection Campaign Video is a Trippy Dream
A fusion of avant-garde aesthetics and athletic functionality.
Shortly after the big unveil of its highly anticipated Rihanna-conceived FENTY Trainer, PUMA returns once again with another epic sneaker collaboration. This time around, the German sportswear label teams up with McQ, the diffusion label of the late British designer Alexander McQueen, on a range of futuristic footwear. From a pair of open-toed sneakers to strappy all-white silhouettes, the program includes both men’s and women’s models inspired by PUMA’s archive of 90’s running models. Showcasing the dynamic offering in a conceptual campaign video, the visuals are stunningly trippy and filled with plenty of surreal imagery that perfectly complement the selection’s off-kilter designs. Integrating McQ’s avant-garde aesthetic into PUMA’s athletic functionality, the two brands’ have created the perfect union of two disciplines. Although details are still sparse regarding a specific release date, you can stay tuned here for more details.
