Faith Connexion's Street-Centric 2016 Fall/Winter Collection
Streetwear-infused couture.
It’s no secret ex-Balmain creative director Christophe Decarnin is all but the public name in-charge of Faith Connexion. His reluctant presence matches well to the French label’s quiet presence – no marketing but by word of mouth and just a modest Instagram. Yet, the unmistakable connection between Decarnin’s Balmain moment and his present outpost, seen in this collection, is clear. The same lived-in, grunge-rock looks, only here in denim and army surplus. Notice the brand’s signature graffitied military jackets and hand-painted jeans in slouched-quality silhouettes.
