Jen Atkin Continues Building Her Hair Empire With a Line of Extensions

“We don’t need to be ashamed of wearing extensions to switch up our look.”

Jen Atkin’s name has become closely associated with that of the Kardashians, but in the beauty world she is typically regarded as one of the most influential hairstylists in the world. Her clientele reads like the who’s who in Hollywood — boasting the likes of Gwen Stefani, Chrissy Teigen, Jessica Alba — but recently Atkin, who also founded popular hair blog Mane Addicts, has been working on ways to make her name a household one. Her first step was with the triumphant launch of her Ouai haircare line two months ago. Now, she introduces a a line of hair extensions in collaboration with Beauty Works offering a collection made of Remy hair in 20 different shades available in tape-in, clip-in or sew-in options.

“We don’t need to be ashamed of wearing hair extensions to switch up our look. Hair extensions give us the freedom to experiment with different lengths, colors, and textures without the damage or commitment,” Atkin says.  ”I’ve always struggled to find hair pieces that fit the head properly, that are good-quality, and that are colored to suit modern tones.” Priced from $200 USD to $400 USD, her hair extensions are available for purchase online.
