The songstress receives the HRC Visibility Award and shows support for the LGBT community.

As you’ve probably heard, Kesha is currently involved in a heartbreakingly difficult legal struggle that has brought up a slew of concerns regarding human rights infringements within the entertainment industry. Bringing light to these issues and more, Kesha took to the stage on Saturday night at the 2016 Nashville Equality Dinner to accept the Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award. In her inspiring acceptance speech, she discussed her experiences as a youth who was ostracized for being different. As a celebration of individuality, acceptance and equality, Kesha’s words were a touching exploration of defeat and triumph.
