Solange Knowles to Relaunch E-Commerce on Saint Heron Site
The assortment includes clothing, accessories, ceramics and beauty products.
Initially a compilation album of R&B artists of the same name, Solange Knowles launched Saint Heron as a digital platform to shine light on creatives who she felt went unacknowledged in the realms of music, fashion, art and culture in 2013. This week at SXSW, the singer announced that the site would be revamping its e-commerce section in collaboration with BigCommerce. The influence of Knowles’ visually arresting personal aesthetic will undoubtedly be seen in the assortment of the online store, as she specifically requested offerings that are in line with certain colorways. Designers such as Yvonne Koné, James Phlemnus and Morgan Parish will be featured, along with others whose work spans from clothing and beauty products to ceramics and accessories. The site is set to go live Friday evening on March 18.
