These Smart Leggings Track Your Workout With an App

If you abide by the cozy lifestyle, chances are you already have a drawer full of leggings for lounging around. But if you’re an exercise aficionado, fitness startup Athos is offering a pair you’ll want to break a sweat in from a line of smart apparel developed to help perfect exercise form and maximize workouts. Lined with 12 bio-sensors that sync up with an attached Core transmitting device, the nylon and spandex blend capri leggings connect via Bluetooth to Athos’ free smartphone app that shows which muscles are firing up and at what intensity. Priced at $350 USD for both the Core — which can be used with any other garment from the activewear collection — and a set of capris, they are far from your standard athleisure variety.
