Anteros Releases Infectious New Single "Breakfast"
“We’ve all been bored by someone who is too self-indulgent.”
London-based four-piece Anteros have unveiled their latest single, “Breakfast,” an infectiously vibrant track perfect for summer. Fronted by charismatic vocalist Laura Hayden, the new track delves into the complicated emotions inherent in a lackluster love affair. Filled with sun-drenched riffs and an undeniably catchy melody, the tune pairs harmoniously with the band’s name, which comes from the Greek god of unrequited love. Go figure. On how the song came about, Hayden says, “We wrote this song last summer. I was seeing someone who only wanted to stay up and talk about their problems until the early hours. We’ve all been bored by someone who is too self-indulgent.” While we wait for the track’s music video to drop later this month, we’ll definitely have “Breakfast” on repeat for now.
