The type of coffee being brewed might be one reason to visit a particular cafe, but at a new place in Tokyo, the main attraction isn’t espresso — it’s an exotic animal. The Harry cafe is home to 30 hedgehogs of different breeds, and visitors can play with the prickly pets for a fee of approximately $9 to $12 USD, dependent upon the day of the week. Tokyo and Korea have been on pet cafes for a while with your run of the mill dog and cat variations, but only recently has Tokyo ventured to the more obscure with its bunny and owl cafes. Now, add hedgehogs to that growing list.
