This Baker Turns Couture into Delicious Cookies

Mmmmmm, fashion.

Toronto-based baker Lindsey Gazel is known for her vibrantly whimsical cookies, decorated with lively colors and quirky pop culture references. Catching the attention of Vogue, the culinary artisan was recently asked by the publication to interpret five of the most iconic runway looks this season. “Basically, I scan through magazines or Vogue Runway during Fashion Weeks, and if anything really catches my eye, I screenshot it,” explains Gazel. She then rolls out the cookie dough and carves the shape of the garment out, followed by impeccable piping work with royal icing. You can check out her creations above, which include a Vetements hoodie, Dries Van Noten suit, Alexander Wang model Katherine Moore, Alexander McQueen gown, and Givenchy frock.
