Maison Kitsuné Unveils Unisex Footwear Collection
Lookbook staged by rising Chinese photographer Ren Hang.
Maison Kitsune enters domain footwear, still honoring its Franco-Japanese origins. “The launch of a footwear collection was a natural step in our development,” said directors Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki. “With it, we wanted to offer wardrobe essentials that were masculine and feminine as well as chic and laidback.” They’re exactly that — constructed of handsome Italian leather, four signature models will debut: unisex bicolor penny loafers, men’s lace-up boots, women’s ankle boots and glazed Mary Jane pumps. The collection will be available in-store and online on May 2 ranging from $450-$650 USD.
