'The Neon Demon' Official Trailer Starring Elle Fanning Is as Beautiful as It Is Disturbing

From Nicolas Winding Refn, the highly-acclaimed director of ‘Drive.’

Showcasing director Nicolas Winding Refn’s hallmark techniques of tense environments and stylized imagery, his latest film The Neon Demon is neo-noir at its finest. Highlighted in the movie’s official trailer is a beautifully haunting landscape that comments on the dark underbelly of LA’s modelling industry. Filled with fleeting scenes that border on the fringes of disturbing hysteria, Refn’s latest feature is expected to be a psychological thriller that will make viewers wish they could look away. The Neon Demon is set for a June release via Amazon Studios and will also be shown at the Official Competition of the 69th Cannes film festival for its world premiere.
