Rihanna's NSFW "Needed Me" Video Exposes Her Inner Outlaw
She’s Bad Gal for a reason.
When you’re Rihanna, you can do whatever you want, including release your new music video on 4/20 “just because.” And that same this-is-my-world-and-you’re-just-living-in-it spirit is the theme for “Needed Me,” the singer’s latest single seen and heard in said music video. It’s no coincidence then that the visual is directed by Harmony Korine, whose name you’ll recognize as the one behind 2013’s transgressive Spring Breakers.
Above, a gun-toting RiRi pushes the limits of her inner outlaw, wearing nothing but underwear beneath a gauzy, see-through coverup for most of the scenes. Bad Gal indeed.
