Sony Receives Patent To Develop Smart Contact Lens Camera
Get a glimpse at the future of technology.
Looks like the future of technology is a lot closer than it appears, as Sony has patented a smart contact lens. The news comes after Samsung and Google received patents for similar technology. Like Samsung’s, the Japanese tech company’s version will have a built-in camera — the wearer’s eye controls the shutter — that will have autofocus, image stabilization and aperture control, along with storage and a transmission unit.
Keep an eye out for more details, but see the patent below in the meantime.
