Supreme Pays Homage To Muhammad Ali Featuring An Exclusive Portrait By Andy Warhol

From the photographer’s iconic ‘Athlete’ series.

Supreme presents its latest drop paying homage to Cassuis Marcellus Clay Jr., otherwise known as two-time Heavyweight champion boxer Muhammad Ali. This capsule collection sees a white hooded sweatshirt and black short sleeve T-shirt, both featuring an exclusive portrait taken by the iconic Andy Warhol.

The photo was first featured as part of the photographer’s iconic ‘Athlete’ polaroid series, showing the boxer in a rare reflective moment, while capturing his strong essence as a man who fought not just in the ring, but outside of it as a champion for racial justice, religious rights and as an adversary against the Vietnam war.

Find both pieces online and in stores at Supreme’s NY, LA, London, Paris April 21 and in Japan April 23.
