Just after the release of her single, “Places to Go,” Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna shared a video for her ballad “Crush” with Usher. Similar to the DJ-premier produced predecessor, “Crush” sees black-and-white slow-motion shots — this time, to the tune of puppy love and infatuation over Yuna and Usher’s smooth serenade. There’s nothing quite like young love, so the Daniel Carberry-directed production intertwined two young kids into the storyline.
“The song is about two people realizing they’re made for each other for the first time, and Usher completed the song beautifully,” said Yuna. “I knew from the moment I listened to the whole song, I had to get Usher on it.” Watch the video above and stay tuned for Yuna’s upcoming album, Chapters, to drops on May 20.
