Chloé 2016 Pre-Fall Collection Wanders Between the Hard and Soft
Drawing heavily upon international influences.
Who exactly is the Chloé woman? According to designer Clare Waight Keller, a bit of everything as evidenced in her Pre-Fall 2016 collection of garments that as a whole, cannot be pegged down to any one place or thing. Hard and soft find union between gauzy tunics ensembles that fare best at any international fest, paired with handsomely structured outerwear lined with shearling, similar to that of the shoes. Some of the pieces might find themselves amongst the hip corners of the city — examples include zip-legged denim bottoms and an iteration of the workwear-inspired jumpsuit — while others, like long, lace numbers, could be found lazily basking in the countryside.
With all the international influences, the oversized feel is in abundance as fabric is generously layered throughout. Familiarize yourself with Chloé’s carefree spirit up above.
