Beyoncé's "Daddy Lessons" Gets a Country Cover by the Dixie Chicks
A country song sung by one of the well-known country bands.
Beyoncé’s LEMONADE was her most ambitious project yet, combining poetry, telling lyrics and strong visuals into a cohesively impactful piece. One song stands out in particular because it doesn’t quite match the sounds of the others on the album — or any of her albums for that matter. “Daddy Lessons” is B’s first-ever take on folk country, and American country band Dixie Chicks embraced it by performing it at their tour stop in Manchester.
