Emilia Clarke Speaks out Against Inequality In Harper's Bazaar UK
“Why am I treated differently because I’ve got a pair of tits?”
Emilia Clarke is pretty in pink on her sun-drenched Harper’s Bazaar UK cover for July 2016. Within she opens up about inequality in the entertainment industry — about being heard in a “man’s world.” Clarke may be the Mother of Dragons on HBO’s Game of Thrones but on-set she’s “normally surrounded by dudes.” Her new movie Doing Me Before You “meant I didn’t have to be continually proving myself in a man’s world, having to try and force people to listen to me. Why are they treating me differently because I’ve got a pair of tits?” she said.
Clarke also gets real about her pre-Hollywood success and her dating struggles. Pick up your copy on June 1 and check out BTS video below.
