FKA Twigs Has Her Own Fragrance on The Way
Interested in smelling like an enigma?
One could only guess what a custom fragrance from FKA Twigs would smell like. How exactly do you bottle up her enigmatic spirit? We’ll find out soon, however, as WWD reports the mystifying singer-songwriter-producer is working with House of Matriarch to produce her own perfume. “Real beauty knocks you a little bit off-kilter, and FKA Twigs knocks you a little bit off-kilter,” says the perfume company’s founder Christi Meshell. “She brings a feminine voice to beauty in a new and raw way,” Meshell said, quoting David Byrne. “I am really happy to be working with her. She’s inspiring to me. She’s gutsy.”
Although there are no other details, Meshell says the fragrance will not be sold at any retailers and instead will be offered on Twigs’ site at a later date — so stay tuned.
