This Gardening Pod Fits in Your Home and Is Controlled via Smartphone

For those who may have a green thumb but are unfortunately confined to a small urban space, your prayers have been answered. Foop is a hydroponic pod from Japan that allows you to grow your own miniature garden, complete with remote capabilities thanks to a flexible Smartphone control application. According to Foop, you can purchase your desired vegetable seeds and raise them in a “cultivation cup.” You can then designate a time frame for them to grow in Foop’s app. Within a few weeks’ time, you’ll receive a notification that your vegetables are ready, having been brought to full fruition with close to no interaction at all. As a perfect union of both form and function, the apparatus is immensely well-designed as well, with modern aesthetics that integrate wood paneling into a clean, white body.
