Gisele Bundchen's $700 USD Book Had No Shortage of Buyers
The second release however costs much less.
Gisele Bündchen’s been the world’s highest-paid supermodel nine-years in the running. Thus, you wouldn’t be surprised to learn signed editions of her book Gisele Bündchen sold out quick in November, despite the $700 USD price-tag. Similar to Naomi Campbell’s retrospective book, Gisele Bündchen chronicles her prolific 20-year career within. On May 10, Taschen restocked the book, unsigned, for $70 USD.
“Some of the images here were initially never envisioned to be published,” Gisele wrote. “The raw portrait by Chuck Close and the nudes by Mario Sorrenti were a few that I always thought would remain unseen. But after a lot of consideration, I realized these images were also part of my story, and as it turned out, the least glamorous images were some of the most true and vulnerable ones I’ve ever taken.” Check out the gallery above to preview the 500-page contents.
