Gucci's Exclusive New Capsule Collection for Net-a-Porter Is Here
Grandma-chic florals reign supreme.
After teasing the collaboration earlier this month, Gucci has finally unveiled its exclusive collection with luxury e-retailer, Net-a-Porter. The two labels have teamed up to present a 20-piece capsule collection that includes ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories that are all designed under the direction of Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele. In line with its 2016 spring/summer program abundant with floral motifs, the new range’s central concept is a rose print inspired by 19th-century tapestry. “Our customer cannot seem to get enough of Gucci,” says Net-a-Porter president Alison Loehnis. “Working on the exclusive project has been a thrill and we’re incredibly excited to be launching this global first on Net-a-Porter. Alessandro has an immense talent and vision and we’ve come to expect from him, the collection is exquisite.” You can take a first look at select pieces from the forthcoming collection in the gallery above. The Gucci x Net-a-Porter collection will drop May 12.
