Since Justin Bieber became the face of Calvin Klein, the brand has outperformed its revenue expectations for the first quarter of the year with a 13% increase in sales. According to an announcement from Calvin Klein’s parent company PVH Corp., the brand made about $723 million USD in the first quarter of 2016. That is a $69 million USD difference compared to the $654 million USD made in the first quarter of 2015. Manny Chirico, CEO of PVH Corp., credited the earnings to CK’s North American wholesale business – with the sale of underwear, in particular. As CK underwear continues to push its #MyCalvins campaign with Bieber alongside a number of prominent celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Kendrick Lamar and Fetty Wap, it will be unsurprising that the brand continues to thrive this year.
