Kristen Stewart Opens up About Being Herself in New Interview
She’s not defining herself to anyone.
Kristen Stewart’s progression post-Twilight was nothing short of tremendous. In Variety the actress opens up about her career reinvention after the vampiric/lycanthropic mega-hit trilogy: “I didn’t fight hard to be taken seriously. As much as the Twilight series shaped and defined me for other people in a grand way, for me it wasn’t something I had to get away from.”
Her return to film — after an 18-month sojourn in 2012 — sees the upcoming Drake Doremus-directed dystopian romance Equals and Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk. Stewart also refused to sugarcoat her sexuality commenting, “Me not defining it right now is the whole basis of what I’m about. If you don’t get it, I don’t have time for you.” Read the entire interview here.
