Now news comes of Chanel naming the 16-year-old as the ambassadress of its newest No. 5 fragrance, Chanel No. 5 L’Eau. Already landing an eyewear campaign for the fashion house back in September, Depp made the official announcement via Instagram Monday morning, Chanel saying in a statement that she “embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection, bringing to the iconic fragrance of the House her youthful freshness and beauty.” She follows in the footsteps of her mother, Vanessa Paradis, who was once the face of the Coco Chanel fragrance — like mother, like daughter.
