Tom Ford's Second Film Receives Official Release Date
‘Nocturnal Animals,’ featuring a star-studded cast, will premiere later this year.
Tom Ford added film director to his resume following the debut of A Single Man in 2009. The fashion designer will return to the silver screen yet again later this year, announcing official release dates for his sophomore film, Nocturnal Animals. Based on novel Tony and Susan by Austin Wright, Ford wrote and directed the movie about an art gallery owner who appears to be tormented by her ex-husband’s violent thriller novel that she believes is symbolic of revenge and a threat directed toward her. The star-studded cast includes names like Jake Gyllenhaal, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Isla Fisher and more.
Nocturnal Animals will premiere during awards season with Focus Features hosting an exclusive release on November 18 before showing in select theaters November 23 and then nationwide on December 9.
