'The 9th Life of Louis Drax' Official Trailer Starring Jamie Dornan & Aaron Paul
A tense psychological thriller based on the bestselling novel.
Based on Liz Jensen’s bestselling novel of the same name, the first trailer for the psychological thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax is an unsettling glimpse into the mysteries surrounding a young comatose patient. The narrative follows psychologist Dr. Allan Pascal (Jamie Dornan) as he attempts to uncover the events leading up to how 9-year-old Louis (Aiden Longworth) managed to survive a fall from a cliff, after being pronounced dead for two hours. “We’re not supposed to use the word miracle, but this might call for an exception,” Dr. Pascal tells Louis’ mother Natalie (Sarah Gadon). The narrative becomes increasingly complex as the doctor attempts to figure out the role that Louis’ “aggressive” father (Aaron Paul) plays in the accident, who also happens to be missing. As Dornan’s character tries to access the boy’s consciousness, the results bring him into a nightmarish environment where nothing is as it seems. Directed by Alexandre Aja (Horns, The Hills Have Eyes), The 9th Life of Louis Drax promises to keep audiences at the edge of their seats. The film also stars, Oliver Platt, Barbara Hershey and Molly Parker.
You can watch the tense trailer above and can expect the film to hit theaters on September 2.
