Bruta Pays Homage to Italy in 2017 Spring/Summer Lookbook
The London-based label fuses classic Italian elegance with contemporary streetwear.
Founded in 2015, London-based label Bruta is known for its unisex, casual shirts with hand drawn designs. The designs are usually inspired by patterns and motifs found in traditional and contemporary arts and crafts, typically printed or embroidered directly on to the shirts. For its 2017 spring/summer collection, Bruta looks to Italian culture for inspiration. The designs for this season take reference from Italian cuisine, Florentine families, old painterly masters and World Cup heroes. Floral prints and Italian iconography can also be seen in some of the designs, giving the collection a rustic charm. Comprised of a selection of short and long-sleeved shirts made of cotton jersey, viscose and cotton poplin, the program is completed with both new and classic silhouettes. View the collection in the lookbook above, and head over to Bruta’s website to shop the range.
