Forever 21 Gets Shady With This 'I FEEL LIKE PABLO' Knock-Off Shirt

Real subtle.

As a secret to none, Forever 21 has garnered a notorious reputation when it comes to copying designs. From cultural appropriation to blatant replicas, the world of fast fashion retail giants has a history of questionable design practices. Following the release of ZARA‘s latest collection, which bears a suspiciously close resemblance to Yeezy Season, Kanye West has seemingly been ripped off once again in the form of a Forever 21 T-shirt that is eerily reminiscent of the rapper’s “I FEEL LIKE PABLO” merchandise. The F21 iteration features an esoteric reference to Simon of Cyrene on the back, arranged in a way that fans of Ye will be hard-pressed to ignore. Simon is known in history as the one to carry Jesus’ cross to the point of crucifixion, as commanded by the Romans. Of course, this is a curious choice for the retail giant as Pablo in TLOP refers to St. Peter, who is largely considered as the “rock” on which the modern church has been built on. Real subtle, guys.

If you really feel like you must, you may purchase the shirt here for $32 USD.
