Miley Cyrus Ends Workplace Gender Inequality In Unaired 'SNL' Sketch
Did you hear that? The glass ceiling just shattered.
Miley Cyrus appeared on Saturday Night Live as a host and musical guest in October, but just now surfacing is a sketch that never saw TV time. Set in an era of shoulder pads and highly-teased hair, the singer plays an employee who becomes fed up with being belittled by her male boss and his colleagues. The men take credit for a budget proposal she worked on with the help of Aidy Bryant’s character — the boiling point is reached. Suddenly, the pair transform into “Women Workplace Warriors” ready to fight office sexism and dismantle patriarchy. Watch them break through the glass ceiling with “feminine business skills” and “general pizzazz” in the video above.
