Nicholas Kirkwood Honors Zaha Hadid With a Shoe Collection
A structural capsule inspired by her architecture.
Shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood adds to Zaha Hadid’s everlasting legacy with a structural shoe collection. Not the first time her work has influenced his own, his upcoming offerings for the resort season include a capsule specifically named after her — bold designs and lines reminiscent of the architecture’s style. “I designed the collection before she died,” he told Observer. “She’s been a huge inspiration to me and she was such a strong woman with such a bold vision. I felt like I had to honor her.” The two pairs of heeled sandals and a pair of pumps are priced between $895 USD and $1095 USD and are avaible for preorder at Moda Operandi.
