STORY mfg. Parodies Stock Images in Its 2017 Spring/Summer "Best After" Lookbook
The London label “cooks up” some sustainable steez.
London-based sustainable streetwear label STORY mfg. takes on an interesting concept for it 2017 Spring/Summer lookbook. Entitled “Best After,” the shoot takes place in what seems to be a kitchen and the pictures are processed to look like stock images. Long known for its extensive efforts to produce its apparel sustainably, STORY mfg. uses heavy organic cotton dyed with fermented indigo, tree bark and plant roots for this collection, as well as lightweight textiles woven with solar-power looms. As a result, the fabrics are heavily textured and truly unique. Just like its past season, the vintage-inspired apparel is made for unisex fit. Preview the quirky lookbook in the gallery above.
