Southern France Inspired This ASICS GEL-Lyte V
Lavender like the picturesque Aix-en-Provence.
ASICS takes us to Southern France for an upcoming GEL-Lyte V. The “Aix-en-Provence” gets its name from the French city that’s blanketed in lavender fields — a picturesque summer wonderland. The footwear company captures that charm onto the popular shoe, using local Mont Sainte Victoire as a pinnacle of inspiration. The soft purple hue is painted onto a suede and leather upper as a nod to the scenic art created by French artist Paul Cezanne, who used the mountain as his muse from the 19th century. Tan wraps the heel before dripping onto the crisp, white midsole.
Find the “Aix-en-Provence” at ASICS and select stockists starting July 29.
