UK-based footwear label Cortica has introduced four new silhouettes as part of its “Cult Summer” capsule collection. Updating the ‘Infinity’ silhouette, a streamlined EVA sole unit is added along with a one-piece ventilating knit upper. Also available in two jersey-neoprene iterations, the sneaker is rendered in an assortment of warm and earthy colorways. Continuing with the brand’s minimalist ethos, the Infinity has been deconstructed to its bare essentials – in fact, the stripped-down aesthetic removes the eye stays and staggers the lace entries. The resulting effect is a refreshing take on the lace design that was first made popular by the cult-status Yeezy Boost 350. Elements from the Tubular and ZX Flux are also subtly integrated into a single makeup so you no longer have to choose. The single-piece construction also accommodates a ventilation system that yields optimal breathability. Rounding off the details is a sock-like fit that has become synonymous with the Cortica brand. You can shop the entire collection now at Cortica’s webstore.
