Watch Caroline De Maigret Hilariously Refuse to Go for a Swim
A playful short featuring bathing suits from French swimwear label Eres.
Parisian muse Caroline De Maigret has collaborated with French swimwear label Eres to create a playful short film. Entitled “Poolside Realness,” the Bertrand Le Pluard-directed video showcases a stunning array of one-piece bathing suits, bathrobes, and accessories from Eres. A lighthearted plot inspired by Maigret’s own experiences is also present to tie things up together. “I don’t exercise so much and I’m fine with my body,” said the 41-year-old French model, “but I have to say that when it comes to being at the beach, I suddenly become more conscious of my flaws. And of course, I start comparing myself to the 18 year-old girls with perfect bodies we see in magazines all year around. So I wanted to make fun of me and that moment before I go to swim.” The result is a list of hilarious excuses that Maigret has come up with to avoid taking a dip in the pool, as she jokes in the short clip: “The kids spit in it. I think I’ll pass.”
