Gucci Unveils Its 2016 Capsule "Gucci Garden" Collection
To be sold exclusively online.
Following the success of its collaborative capsule collection with NET-A-PORTER, where most of the popular designs were sold out within a day, Gucci returns with yet another capsule offering. Taking his signature nature-inspired designs customized for the Italian fashion house, Alessandro Michele combines botanical beauty with modern grandma-chic silhouettes for the capsule. The ready-to-wear line features pieces that are undoubtedly decorated with a jungle of flora and fauna, complemented by birds, bees and bugs intertwined in Rococo-esqe style. Some of the key pieces include a reversible bomber jacket, pleated skirts, an embroidered denim jacket and knit sweaters. The line also comprises accessories such as bags, clutches, slippers and sneakers. As enticing as it is, the collection will only be available on Gucci’s online store from July 5.
