NikeLab GYAKUSOU Launches New Rio Olympics-Inspired Sportswear Collection
The collaborated line adds brighter hues to its neutral color palette.
In celebration of the upcoming Rio Olympic Games, NikeLab GYAKUSOU releases a brand new athletic apparel collection “Rio in Reverse.” Designed in collaboration between Nike and UNDERCOVER’s Jun Takahashi, the new sportswear range differs slightly from the line’s previous releases. In contrast to its usual muted color palette, pieces from NikeLab GYAKUSOU’s latest collection sees brighter, Brazil-inspired colors. Dri-FIT technology is also applied across all items of the capsule to enhance functionality. In particular, the Distance Short is constructed with a light and breathable FlyVent waistband, as well as a packable back pocket on the back panel that allows the wearer to store an extra clothing item.
While the sportswear collection will first drop at Rio’s NikeLab store in Ipanema on August 4, you can expect to purchase items from the range globally beginning August 18 in-store and online from NikeLab.
